Fibercill is pleased to announce an exciting new product range combining our precision MDF profiles wrapped in either real wood veneer, paper foil or PVC laminates.

Fibercill DWMThese highly consistent defect free mouldings are ideal for use in construction, refurbishment, shop fitting, furniture manufacture general joinery and many other applications.

They offer a highly cost effective and environmentally friendly alternative to solid wood mouldings, whilst eliminating many of the faults associated with solid timber.

FIBERCILL INVESTS IN INCREASED CAPACITY TO MEET CUSTOMER DEMAND

Capacity at Brierley Hill based Fibercill has been dramatically increased thanks to the investment in, and commissioning of, a new, bespoke designed cross cut line.

Providing the highest accuracy of cut in the market, the saw installation will enable daily production capacity to be doubled providing significantly increased volume capacities to meet demand on up to 500 stock products across the whole Fibercill range.

The CE conformed machine is not only one of the most advanced on the market, it is also one of the safest. Accuracy of cut is to 0.1mm, with a waste optimisation facility which automatically processes it into a recycling system.

Using a combination of optimisation and intelligent control, speeds of up to 180m/min can be achieved and depending on the application, this single machine can replace up to four manual cross cuts with a reduction in manning levels of up to 50%.

This investment in equipment that is the most advanced of its type is further indication of the Fibercill management team’s confidence in the product range and its dominant position in the market.
