Yes – All Fibercill MDF Mouldings come sanded, de-nibbed and twice primed used a factory applied water based primer.
Yes – Fibercill are able to offer a fully bespoke special profile machining service, enabling us to match new and existing requirements to exact specifications. Prices, Lead Times and individually tailored CAD Drawings are available on request.
All MDF Moulding Products should be stored under cover on site and/or in transit, and never exposed to excessive wetting. Packs should be placed on sufficient bearers (Off the ground) to prevent distortion, and kept in a well ventilated area to prevent the absorption of moisture. We recommend that the product is pre- conditioned at installation, for at least 24 hours, to avoid dimensional variations where excessive changes in relative humidity are likely.
Fibercill MDF Moulding Products are easily worked using conventional woodworking tools and can be fixed using a propriety high performance contact adhesive or lost head or helical nails. All profiles are supplied with a factory applied two-coat primer and are ready to be finished with a conventional undercoat followed by a top coat using standard polyurethane, alkyl or acrylic paint.
Yes – All our MDF Moulding products meet the requirements for the FSC Chain of Custody Standard. They contain a minimum of 70% FSC Certified Virgin Fibre. (Certified by BM Trada TT-COC-1663).
Yes – All our MDF Moulding products are Moisture Resistant. We have removed the Green Dye (Which is the normal indicator for an ‘MR’ Grade Board) from the production process, for aesthetic purposes to give the product a whiter appearance when primed.
